Copyright & OWNERSHIP
Before production, customers must confirm that they: own the copyright in the supplied artwork, or have written permission from the copyright owner to reproduce it.
Artists retain copyright in their work. Gallery 8 will not produce additional copies, editions or merchandise without authorisation.
What if the artwork was created by another artist or photographer?

You may need written permission or a reproduction licence from the copyright owner before we can print it.
WHAT FILE TYPES DO YOU ACCEPT

Preferred file types are: TIFF, HIGH QUALITY JPEG other formats after review.
For premium results, files should ideally be supplied at minimum 300+ dpi at the intended print size.
Changing the DPI setting alone does not add detail. The file must contain enough actual pixels for the requested print size
Will the print look exactly like what's on the screen?

Not always. Screen brightness, calibration, lighting and the selected print material can affect how colours appear.
A printed proof is the most reliable way to assess colour before final production.
What printers does Gallery 8 use?Gallery 8 operates two professional 64-inch Epson wide-format printers:

Having two printers provides greater production capacity and reliable backup for artist orders.
Approximate production times?
Standard turnaround is generally:
Print only: 3–7 business days
Ready to hang: 1–2 weeks , subject to availability
Large editions: confirmed after file and quantity review

At Gallery 8, we produce premium fine art prints using professional giclée printing technology, archival-quality fine art papers and canvas, and high-quality pigment inks.
Our prints are created in-house with careful colour management and professional finishing to achieve excellent detail, colour accuracy and longevity. Selected works can also be finished with quality stretching and framing options, ready to hang.
What is the quality of your prints?

We use high-quality timber framing materials selected for durability, presentation and professional finishing.
Our float frames are designed specifically for artwork and are carefully assembled to complement the finished canvas. Colours are OAK, BLACK, WHITE & WALNUT
What quality are your frames?

Yes. We offer an optional hand-applied artist varnish service.
The varnish is professionally hand applied applied to the finished canvas to provide an additional protective layer while enhancing the appearance of the artwork. This is an extra service and can be added to selected canvas print orders.Can you apply varnish to my canvas print?

Can Gallery 8 provide a complete finished artwork service?

Yes. We can manage the complete process in-house, from fine art scanning and colour preparation through to printing, stretching, framing, varnishing and Certificate of Authenticity production.
This allows artists to have their work professionally reproduced and finished through one service..
Do you offer Certificates of Authenticity?Yes. Gallery 8 can produce professionally printed Certificates of Authenticity for artists, photographers and limited-edition print releases.
Certificates can include information such as:
Artist name
Artwork title
Edition number
Artwork dimensions
Medium
Year created
Artist signature
Additional artwork or edition details

Supply your own artwork or logo and we’ll professionally print your certificate for you. Please provide your file at 300 DPI.

1000gsm recycled backing board
Acid-free clear protective sleeve
