Are the sessions Tutored?

No. These are untutored life drawing sessions.
There is no instruction or teaching participants work independently at their own pace.

What to expect if I am a beginner.

Our figure drawing classes are structured to help beginners feel comfortable and confident. Short warm-up poses help you loosen up, followed by longer poses.

Can I bring my own materials?

Absolutely! Feel free to bring your own sketchbook or preferred materials. We also provide paper, pencils and charcoal for everyone.

Parking & accessibility?

There is Limited parking & street parking at Gallery 8 - 8 Ferry Road Southport.

Public car park Athol Paterson Public Car Park, just a short 5-minute walk from the gallery. No stairs.

Is nudity involved?

Yes. These are traditional life drawing sessions with a professional nude model.
All sessions are respectful, professional, and focused on drawing practice. Suitable for 18+

Are food and drinks available?

A selection of drinks are available from the bar, along with cheese boards that can be enjoyed before or after the session.
