Description: Piece by piece, I layered this work as if confessing everything that has brought me to this exact moment in time. There is so much of me in it—mentally and physically, through blood, urine, and hair seared into the paper. Blood splatters evoke trauma and those disgusting, festering feelings; scribbled patches fill the voids left by a child who had to grow up far quicker than he would have liked. The orange bursts forth as confusion, a raw sense of helplessness. At its core, the message is a confession from a heart where nothing but emotions make sense.
This piece is what happens when you let go of everything that was and become everything that aligns with what the universe wants you to truly be.
