Gallery 8 came alive for a night of colour, curiosity and creative energy as The Space Cowboy returned with a new exhibition and live show.
The gallery was transformed into an immersive world of bold characters, theatrical storytelling and larger-than-life artworks. Surrounded by tigers, lions, rabbits and whimsical painted figures, guests experienced an evening that blended contemporary art, performance and entertainment in true Space Cowboy style.
A New Collection at Gallery 8
The exhibition featured a vibrant new body of work from The Space Cowboy, with each piece carrying his signature mix of humour, imagination and surreal storytelling.
From sharply dressed animal characters to theatrical scenes filled with colour and movement, the collection created a playful and unexpected gallery experience. Guests were able to view the artworks up close, take photos, meet the artist and connect with the stories behind the works.
Live Show: Mind Reading & Spoon Bending
The evening was not just an exhibition — it was a live experience.
The Space Cowboy performed for the audience with a mix of mind reading, impossible moments and his famous spoon bending. Guests were invited into the performance, making the show interactive, surprising and full of energy.

Music, DJ & Gallery Atmosphere
After the live show, the night continued with music and a DJ set with PHONEHOME, what a great night.
Special Guest Performance by Swing Time
The evening also featured a special guest performance by Swing Time, bringing a lively musical moment to the gallery.
Their performance added another layer of energy to the night, blending beautifully with the exhibition, live show and after-hours atmosphere. It was a reminder of how Gallery 8 continues to bring together art, music, performance and community under one roof.
With drinks, conversation, artwork and music all flowing through the space, Gallery 8 became more than a gallery — it became a creative meeting place for artists, collectors and the Gold Coast community.
